walking / cycling
You can take beautiful walks, cycle, or mountain bike in the woods or along the fields. Topographic maps are available in the house. Next to the house, there is access to the RAVeLs : a network of more than 1,430 km of walking and cycling paths. The GR129 runs through the village. You can rent bicycles at
Visit Names / Dinant
Those who wish to discover some beautiful cities of Wallonia in addition to nature can visit Namur or Dinant . About 20 km away, you can enjoy shopping , visit the citadel by cable car, or enjoy the playground at Parc Attractif Reine Fabiola.

If you enjoy swimming outdoors, you can visit Charleroi-les-bains during the summer months. The 700 m² outdoor pool features a large children's paddling pool 80 cm deep, a water slide, a diving pool, and grassy areas for sunbathing. You will also find an 18-hole mini-golf course there.
Maredsous Abbey
A short walk along the RAVeL or a brief drive (4 km) takes you to the Abbey of Maredsous . There you can enjoy a delicious abbey beer, a cheese platter, or artisanal ice cream. At the visitor center, there is a spacious terrace with a lovely playground. You will find other historical gems here.

Railbike
Travel through the Molignée valley on a 4-person railbike . This is a type of go-kart that takes you along the old railway line from Falaën to Maredsous (and vice versa) through a wooded landscape. You can choose between 2 routes.
You can also go kayaking or do other adventurous activities in the area.
